Dr. Dt. Tuğrul Ünal
Dr. Tuğrul Önal graduated as the third-ranked student from Marmara University Faculty of Dentistry. With more than 35 years of clinical experience, he has specialized in the field of orthodontics. Following his graduation, he began his PhD program at the Department of Orthodontics, Marmara University Faculty of Dentistry, on 14.09.1990 and successfully completed his doctoral thesis on 26.12.1995. His dissertation, titled “A cephalometric comparison of the effects of extraction of both upper and lower first premolars versus extraction of only upper first premolars on the craniofacial skeleton and profile in adult skeletal Class II malocclusion cases treated with the Edgewise technique,” was completed by personally treating all clinical cases involved.
Thanks to his experience working with both international and local patients, Dr. Önal provides personalized treatment solutions using modern orthodontic approaches and supports patients in making confident and informed decisions.
He continues his professional practice as part of the Deha Dent team.
